Winemaker Maurico Veloso Estuardo explains that in Chile, the varietal name Pedro Ximenez applies to a crossing of Muscat and the native varietal Pais. Soft but chalky in minerality with a pronounced citrus note reminiscent of “Tang” or “Sunny D.”
